The key to an effective Employee Group Benefit Package is
communication. Employee perceptions can make or break a plan.
The need to package and "sell" the value of an effective
Employee Group Benefit Package further solidifies the demand
for an employee benefits specialist to assist in the entire
process. Here is a partial list of the work we will do for
you and your company:
1) Goals Assessment: At your initial consultation, the Miller
& Wade Group begins by assessing your cost and benefit
objectives. We discuss desired improvements, quantify your
expectations and review what is working well in regard to
your current situation.
2) Evaluating the options: We obtain proposals from the carriers
capable of meeting all your needs and objectives.
3) Plan Installation and Employee Communications: Once you
have made your plan decisions, The Miller & Wade Group
will assist you with every aspect of implementation, including
employee communication. We prepare employee packets and order
appropriate supplies from carriers for open enrollment, coordinate
and attend enrollment meetings, and make presentations where
required.
4) Ongoing Service: As your employee benefits specialists,
we meet with you regularly to discuss service issues and to
provide advice to support your benefits staff. We assist with
claims analysis, carrier follow-up, delivery of required documents,
day-to-day changes and additions, and any claims disputes.
5) Renewal Negotiation: At renewal time, we request needed
information well in advance, so that we have time to provide
a thorough analysis of the best alternatives. We continue
to work on your behalf, negotiating the most favorable contract
and rate renewal agreements possible.
An effective Employee Benefits Program usually has some form
of qualification parameters before employees can qualify to
participate. These parameters must be in writing and the same
for all employees according to their employment status.
Once you have designed an effective Employee Group Benefit
Plan for your employees, most companies then consider discretionary
executive benefits to strategically help retain and reward
key employees, recruit additional top-notch talent, and provide
additional compensation to selected individuals. We can assist
throughout this entire process.
